1998 GMC Sierra

This is one of the few examples of these GMT400 pickups Ive had that is completely rust free. It has the 5.7L V8 engine, automatic transmission, electronic 4wd with low range, and 286k for miles. It had a new intake gasket installed recently and a third party mechanic looked it over at that time and said it seemed to be a solid pickup. Good oil pressure, smooth running engine with good power and no strange noises or major leaks. Transmission shifts as it should and the 4wd engages right away. Does have some wear and tear in places as can be expected for the age and miles but is solid underneath. Cab corners, rockers, fender wells, frame, even the pinch molding is dry and rust free. Tires are more of a highway tread but have a lot of life left in them. Has a few of the typical 90s GM quirks like door pins that sag slightly, but everything seems to work as it should. Interior is in decent shape with a good heater. It's a solid affordable pickup. $3450 takes it home.
