Yes, you can drive it home.

I purchased this pick-up a few years back. I hate to sell, but I am ready to pass it on to focus on another project. The patina was the selling point for me...pretty cool in my opinion.

This is a nice old solid rig. The only bit of cancer is in both cab corners. I had the carpet out of this pickup to install kilmat and new carpeting and the floors are rock solid, and so are the inner and outer rockers. All of the cab supports and mounts are great. The box is solid. It has a few whiskey dents and scratches, yes, but pretty straight overall. The previous owner to the previous owner ran through a barbed wire fence that kissed the paint in a few spots. There is also a 243-sized bullet hole one in the floor pan from the same owner. So, I guess, yes, there is one hole in the floor.

The previous owner installed an overhauled 350 and 350 trans with shift kit. They are not original to the truck. I believe he said the cylinders were bored 40 over. New vortex heads and a decent cam were part of the overhaul. I do not have any of the specifics. I was told the motor had about 20k on it and the transmission less when I bought it. New exhaust was put on at that time so still looks and sounds fresh. I just replaced header gaskets and had a muffler shop in town update hangers and install new collector gaskets. There are no leaks or rattles. I have probably put around 2,500 miles on it since I have owned it. I believe it has 308s in the rear so it scoots down the highway nice.

Recently, within the last two years, I replaced both gas tanks, sending units, tank switch, and tank selector unit. I have replaced various odds and ends including rear brake drums, shoes, and hardware, and all brake hoses to name a few. I just recharged the A/C, which now blows cold. I put new tires on it last year, 275/60s Cooper Cobras on all four.

The next thing I was going to do is lower the truck and get the stance that I like, but now I guess thats up to the next owner. The truck is pretty loud, but not in the cab. I installed sound deadening as I mentioned before, which helps a little. You can definitely carry on a conversation with the passenger.

Anyways, rant over. Please message me via Bisman if you have any questions. Leave your number and I will give you a call when I can. Thanks! Please, just come check it out in person if you are seriously interested.
