Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Powersports Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and personal watercraft. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on powersports vehicles.
Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems effectively.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding service recommendations and repairs.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in powersports technology.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in powersports or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a technician in the powersports industry or similar mechanical field.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Valid drivers license; motorcycle endorsement is a plus.
