Chex is a 15 year old registered Dun gelding that is extremely broke. He is very safe for kids to ride but does have maintenance. He is pigeon toed on the front end and requires shoes year-round. He will still trot and lope just not long distances or very fast. My daughter is looking for more speed so he is just sitting. We have started him on Osteo-Max and that is really helping him. He is a big horse, I haven't taped him but thinking 15'3. He mixes well with other horses, loads in trailer, and stands for farrier. I do give him bute before trimming to help with his front legs getting sore after being stretched.
