Female German Wirehair Pointer**********

Female German wire haired pointer- a little over a year old. Unregistered. Super sweet girl, up to date on her vaccines and preventatives. She is NOT spayed, but she is not breeding quality either-though we do believe she had at least one litter before coming to us. She does have irregular ears due to a dog attacking her when she was young, but this does not affect her hearing.

Birdie does wonderfully with other dogs and cats, though hasnt been around children. She loves to play, chew on her chew toys, carry around her stuffies, and play fetch. Shes a mid energy dog who loves her toys but more importantly loves snuggling with her favorite people. If youre looking for a super loyal companion who wont leave your side- she is your girl.

Weve been fostering Birdie for a few months but she is ready to find her forever home. She had no training prior, but during her time with us she learned some basics-sit, down, stay, place, and walking nicely on a leash, but will still need consistent training. We believe she was an outdoor dog before us, and she has pottied indoors a small handful of times, but she has mostly been good about pottying outside.

Birdie is a super sweet girl and becomes attached very easily. She would be good for a family looking for an easy-going companion, but I think she would thrive as someones number one. She bonds very hard to one person and can be a little defiant when others want to give her cues, but shes not too difficult. Because she bonds so strongly, she does have some separation anxiety. I think she would do wonderfully for someone who works from home or is retired/home often.

We are not asking a rehoming fee, but a good home is a must. She will come with a small bag of food to transition her to the kibble of your choice. Like any dog- birdie will require regular play, training, enrichments, and vet care. Please message me with any questions.
